Celebrate Canada Day with Royals Will & Kate!

Here is a tour that offers a chance to see the Royal Newlyweds, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Will and Kate will be at the Ottawa Canada Day Royal Celebration on July 1. Enjoy a weekend away in Ottawa, Canada’s capital, and a chance to celebrate the 144th birthday of Canada. All of the fun takes place on Parliament Hill. This trip also features a hop off tour of the city and a city museum pass. You will enjoy private transport to and from the airport as well as a stay in a pleasant hotel that’s close to everything. The trip lasts four days, beginning June 30, 2011.

Day one: includes all pre-departure information such as maps, vouchers, tickets, etc. Then you will be transported  from the airport in a private sedan, have time for lunch (not included), a 3 hour walking tour of Ottawa with a private guide, and dinner (not included) , and a night’s stay at the Westin. The walking tour includes Parliament Hill, the National War Museum, The Supreme Court, Sparks Street, Major’s Hill Park, The Chateau Laurier, The Bank of Canada, The Rideau Canal, The Prime Minister’s Offices, The ByWard Market, and other spots in downtown Ottowa.

Day 2: includes Canada Day Festivities on Parliament Hill, lunch (not included), the afternoon at your leisure, dinner (not included) and a second night at The Westin. Canada Day is an exciting time when Canadians from all over the country come to Ottawa to celebrate.  There will be ceremonies, a chance to enjoy musicians from all over the country, and fireworks in the evening.

Day 3: begins with a Grand City Tour of Ottawa on either a Gray Line air-conditioned, washroom –equipped Coach, a double decker, or trolley that will highlight landmarks, attractions, and scenery. After lunch (not included) you again have the afternoon at your leisure, then dinner (not included), and another night at The Westin.

Day 4: includes private transfer to the airport. A portion of the proceeds of this trip are donated to Horizon Helps, Horizon & Co.’s charitable organization.

The Westin, which is next to Rideau Hall, is a complete non-smoking hotel. Amenities include decorative gardens and a greenhouse, an indoor salt water pool, 24 hour room service, a hotel restaurant, a lounge and coffee bar, an exercise facility (including squash courts), panoramic views of downtown Ottawa, and more.

This four day trip includes accommodations at The Westin, activities, airport transfers, some meals, and travel assistance. Tips, laundry, beverages, Visas, and vacation insurance are NOT included.
